del.icio.us/popular feed and Bloglines

Ever since del.icio.us went down last month due to a power failure, the del.icio.us/popular feed I subscribe to with Bloglines has been broken… anyone else experiencing this?  I know Bloglines has had problems of its own in December, but I don’t understand why such a popular feed would be busted for such a long time.  When I looked at del.icio.us’ actuall feed, all seems fine, but when added to Bloglines, no items ever show up.

So, I decided to fix it myself using Feedburner.  I just created my own “cleansed” del.icio.us/popular feed and voila, everything works in Bloglines again.  I never thought of using Feedburner as a proxy to fix others’ feeds until today.  Cool!

I had noticed the same problem. I informed Bloglines support and got the follwing on Jan 18:

“Bloglines has been seeing errors while trying to receive updates from del.icio.us feeds. We’re working with del.icio.us to track down the issue.”

As of Feb 1, it is still broken. Thanks for the feedburner fix.
