In December 2003, Cindy (my wife) and I travelled to the Philippines. We have documented our experience through the photos you see here.

Manila

We spent a week in Manila. I was able to spend time with family, many of whom I have not seen since I was a child. We also visited many interesting places in and around Manila. It was great to get to know new family members and get to know better family I hadn't seen in a long time.

Manila is a very poluted and poverty striken city. The city has many problems that can't easily be fixed, especially by a corrupt government. Despite all this, Filipinos in Manila have an amazing spirit and we found people to be very friendly and accommodating.
