Mangoes are also part of the everyday diet of a Filipino. Green mangoes (tart and sour) are eaten with bagoong (shrimp paste) while ripe mangoes are eaten by themselves. It's not uncommon for Filipinos to eat mangoes for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
