GEM Signs is a sign business that my late uncle Ernie started and is now run by other members of the family. The Manalang family in Manila has always been known in the sign and advertising trade. My grandfather's (dad's dad) business, Manalang Advertising, used to make all of the billboards in Manila back in his time.
